A 4-digit LED numeric show is a compact digital issue designed to show digital data by using four man or woman digits, every consisting of a 7-segment LED structure. Each digit consists of seven light-emitting diode (LED) segments organized in a figure-8 pattern, which can show the numbers 0-9 as properly as a restrained quantity of letters and symbols (e.g., "A", "b", "E", "F", "-"). Some editions encompass an extra decimal factor (DP) to every digit for fractional or time-based shows (e.g., "12.34").

These shows are on hand in both frequent anode or frequent cathode configurations, which decide how the LEDs are powered and controlled. They are broadly used in purposes that require clear and vivid digital readouts, such as digital clocks, thermometers, counters, industrial manipulate panels, and purchaser electronics.
