Unlike English numerals, designing simple and accurate segmented representation of Bengali numerals is still a research area in Bengali numeral processing. However, 18, 16, 11, 10, 9, 8, double 7, etc. are the numbers of separate segment displays [1-10][12-14] previously suggested to represent Bengali numerals, which has some limitations of using more segments or displaying inaccurate numerals. In this paper, we propose a new model of 8-segment display for Bengali numerals which is simpler than previous display segments and produces more accurate and uniform numerals. Here, we reduce the segments and curved or bent segments to reduce the difficulty of numeral representation and improve the shape and overall appearance of each numeral character with no segment overlap.
