Types and working principles of speakers

There are many types of speakers used in 2014. According to its working principle, it can be divided into electromagnetic type, electric type, piezoelectric type, electrostatic type, ion type, air flow conversion type, air flow modulation type, etc. However, in 2014, the speakers used for sound playback in high-fidelity systems were mainly electric speakers. Speakers are still the weakest link in a high-fidelity sound reproduction system. Therefore, if you want to obtain excellent sound playback effect, how to choose speakers is very important. If you want to choose the right speaker, you need to understand the working principles of various speakers.
Dimensions
Measuring horns (loudspeakers, "units" in jargon) are sized by their effective radius of vibration. That is to say, it is calculated based on the diameter of the outer edge of the paper cone before the fixed rubber ring is pressed into it. It is customary to use inches for the diameter of the speaker.
Most of the rulers used by ordinary people are metric. After measuring the diameter of the paper cone in centimeters, divide it by 2.54 (2.54 centimeters equals one inch), which is the inch.
4-inch speaker: The diagonal distance of the screw holes is 11.5 cm, the distance between adjacent holes is 8 cm, and the speaker diameter is 10 cm;
5-inch speaker: the diagonal distance of the screw holes is 13.5 cm, the distance between adjacent holes is 9.5 cm, and the diameter is 13 cm;
6.5-inch speaker: The diagonal distance of the screw holes is 15.5 cm, the distance between adjacent holes is 11 cm, and the diameter is 16.5 cm;
The distance between adjacent screw holes in 4X6 inches is 12.3 cm and 7.3 cm;
The distance between adjacent screw holes of 6X9 inches is 16.5 cm and 11 cm respectively.
