Since LED displays are based on LEDs, their optical and electrical characteristics and limit parameter meanings are mostly the same as those of light-emitting diodes. However, since the LED display contains multiple light-emitting diodes, it requires the following special parameters:
1. Luminous intensity ratio
Since the forward current of each segment of the digital tube is different when the driving voltage is the same, the luminous intensity of each segment is different. The ratio of the maximum value to the minimum value among the luminous intensity values of all segments is the luminous intensity ratio. The ratio can be between 1.5 and 2.3, and the maximum cannot exceed 2.5.
2. pulse forward current
If the typical forward DC operating current of each segment of the stroke display is IF, then under pulse, the forward current can be much greater than IF. The smaller the pulse duty cycle, the larger the pulse forward current can be.
