Today, our company organized a fun-filled activity of making traditional Chinese sticky rice cakes, known as "糍粑" in Chinese, in the beautiful city of Zhuji. It was an exciting chance for the entire team to come together and experience the essence of Chinese culture in a light-hearted and interactive way.
The activity took place in a rural, picturesque part of the city, far from the hustle and bustle of corporate life. We were surrounded by the serene beauty of nature and the rustic charm of the countryside, which made the experience all the more enjoyable.
The team was divided into groups, each with their own station to make the traditional sticky rice cakes. We were given instructions and demonstrations from the local experts on the art of preparing the ingredients and putting them together to create a perfect "糍粑." It was amazing to see how everyone got involved, working together, mixing, scooping and shaping the dough into beautiful and delicious sticky rice cakes.
The atmosphere was electric with laughter and excitement as we bonded over making the cakes. It was a great opportunity for everyone to relax and communicate with each other outside of work. We learned about each other's culture and backgrounds, and it brought us closer together as a team.
After the hard work was done, we all sat down to enjoy our delicious creation, and of course, a great selection of local tea. The taste of the freshly made sticky rice cakes was delightful. Crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, the cakes melted in our mouths, leaving a sweet memory that we will cherish for a long time.
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience for all of us, and we hope to have more like it in the future. The event was not just about making traditional Chinese sticky rice cakes but about the idea of coming together as a team and experiencing the culture of others. It was another reminder that work can be fun, and team building can be a great way to build unity and lasting relationships within the workplace.
