The working principle of an LED display is to create the desired image or text by controlling the brightness and color of each LED. This display method has the advantages of bright colors, high brightness, long life, and good stability, so it is widely used in various occasions.

The working principle of an LED display is mainly based on the characteristics of a light-emitting diode (LED). LED (Light Emitting Diode) is a diode made of semiconductor material that emits visible light when a forward current passes through it. In an LED display, these LEDs are organized into a specific arrangement, and each LED lamp bead represents a pixel.
 

Specifically, an LED display consists of many LED lamp beads, which are arranged in a grid-like structure in the form of columns and rows. When specific content needs to be displayed, the control system sends the input digital signal to the corresponding LED to control its brightness and color. This control is achieved by changing the current intensity passing through the LED. The greater the current intensity, the higher the brightness.
 

In addition, in order to achieve high brightness and clear display effects, LED displays usually use pulse width modulation (PWM) technology. This is a technology that controls the display brightness by quickly switching the on and off state of the LED. In a short period of time, the faster the LED switches on and off, the higher the brightness of the display.

 

In addition, each LED module of the LED display consists of multiple LED lamp beads, which use full-color LED technology to combine three different colors of LEDs: red (R), green (G) and blue (B), also known as RGB primary colors. Different colors of LED lamp beads control their luminous brightness by controlling the size of the current, thereby adjusting the brightness of each color LED, and can mix various colors to display colorful images.
